Conventional medicine defines health as the absence of disease.  

Is that enough for you?

Sushruta's quote above is the definition of health from the Ayurvedic perspective; summarized simply: 

 a person is healthy when their Body, Mind, and Spirit is full of bliss 24 hours a day. 

Doesn't that sound more like it?


Ayurveda translates to the knowledge of life and is the oldest holistic and preventative approach to health. It is a mechanism of identifying what may be out of balance within your body, and provides options for treating this imbalance through modalities like diet and lifestyle.   Through the teachings of this ancient healing technique, you will learn how to tap into the innate wisdom of your own body and be able to use this knowledge as a form of preventative care.  

Why would you chose to see what Ayurveda can do for you?

What sort of healing modalities are used?

Ayurveda is holistic, so always included in your consult is a look at diet, lifestyle, and sleep behaviors. Essential oils, aromatherapy, herbs, and movement therapies can be used to help you find balance. The good news is that if one thing doesn't appeal to you (perhaps smells bother you and therefore aromatherapy holds little appeal), there is always another route we can take to achieve a beneficial result.  

 As part of our work together, you can learn, among other things:

• How your mind, body, and spirit are connected, and what you can do to find harmony between all three

• An effortless form of Meditation

• How you can access the innate wisdom of your Intuition

I am committed to helping you create the change you wish to see in your world, however just as one treatment may be right for one individual and not for another, I may or may not be the right practitioner to help you get where you want to go.  The only way to know if I am the right person to help you is for us to have an initial conversation.   During this discussion we will talk about where you are, where you want to be, and what's stopping you from getting there.  After we have established that working together is in your best interest, we will create a treatment package that is appropriate for you and your goals.  This can be anywhere from three sessions to six months or more of continued care.  

 All meetings can be done either in person or via Skype or Facetime, so please don't let your location stop you from reaching out.

Three months ago, I was dealing with a number of physical & emotional issues.

I had such bad pain in my knees I was afraid a knee replacement was imminent.

I was dreading pollen season since every year I end up taking medicine on a daily basis just to find some relief from the itchiness, sinus pressure & dry eyes.

I was struggling with relatively constant discomfort due to intestinal issues like ever present reflux, bloating, and gas.

I was also dealing with a lot of anger and intolerance regarding certain situations, and it was beginning to affect most aspects of my life. 

I had a hard time accepting and loving myself.

And now?

My knees feel great! I was recently able to walk up and down really steep hills with only minor discomfort, whereas before I wouldn’t have been able to do it at all. Even the minor joint pain I had in my wrists is pretty much gone.

I haven’t needed to take any allergy medicine at all this season and have yet to experience any of the normal symptoms.

The bloating, belching, and irritable bowel issues are completely gone and the reflux has significantly subsided.

I have found that I am more tolerant and accepting, even regarding topics that used to send me over the edge. I’ve grown to accept not only the situations that used to anger me, but also accept myself for exactly who I am. 

I have not only found my truth, but am starting to live it fully.
