This guided meditation is open to anyone; you do not have to be trained in Heart Based Meditation to attend, and feel free to have others in your home join in.
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that uses body sensing, breath awareness, guided imagery and other practices to bring you through the five layers of consciousness and find healing and rejuvenation on a deep level. Twenty minutes of yoga nidra is equated with three hours of sleep, and the practice can bring your mind into its healing, restful state.
Anyone can do it, and it’s been scientifically proven through universities and medical centers like Stanford University and Walter Reed Army Medical Center that regular practice of yoga nidra offers a viable means for alleviating stress related illness, chronic pain, and psychosomatic conditions.

There is no way to practice Yoga Nidra incorrectly- you do not need any prior experience with Yoga or guided meditation in order to take this workshop. I will spend a few minutes telling you more about the practice, and then I will guide you through so you can experience what Yoga Nidra is like for yourself.
A nice benefit of doing this online is that you can literally lay in bed with your phone or device on a table next to you so that you can simply hear me guide you as you drift off.
